His name "Badger's Last Jean" is a play on words for essentially: Badger's last genes. His name honors both my grandmother and Badger.

Jasmine is a 9 year old mare. She is absolutely gorgeous to look at! Silver Dapple in color and very thick! She's about 16.2 hands - which I have been told is quite unusual for her breed. Her sire was a 14.3 hands Palomino and her dam was a 15.1 hands Silver Dapple. Jasmine is super friendly and in your pocket. She's normally the first one to meet you in the pasture. She's easy to catch and lead. She stands well for the vet and farrier. She loads OK - sometimes she will hesitate to step into the trailer, and other times she will walk right in without a fuss. She has been lightly started under saddle. She was ridden a few times back in 2020, but has been out to pasture since then, and raised a colt in 2022 by an AQHA stallion. She really needs to be re-started since her training has been so inconsistent. If she is not sold by February of 2024, she will be pulled from the market and sent for professional training. I had the idea of breeding her to a Friesian stallion for an incredible Friesian Sporthorse foal! That may be something to entertain in 2024.

This mare is the epitome of a bulldog style foundation quarter horse! She is massive in her broad size, but on the shorter side at only around 14.1 hands. She has raised several foals in her lifetime. Her last foal was a gorgeous black filly sired by RW Kings Destiny! She is currently open for 2023. Unfortunately this mare was not registered as a foal, and now cannot be registered with AQHA due to lack of DNA on file for her dam, who is deceased. I have gotten Poco registered with the American Quarter Horse Registry as an alternative to the AQHA.
